      Hello Sathya,
You can open trading account with us and link the other DP with the newly opening trading account. Kindly note that in this case you are only allowed to buy shares from your trading account. You cannot sell your demat shares through us. If you wish to sell then you need to sell from where you have demat account.

You — Please update your info
Need one information. I am trying to demat my Dabur shares. They want client master list. I remember you had once asked for it. Do you have any idea how to get one. This is what the instruction says
“Enclose original/notarized copy of your de-mat account client master list for electronic credit of shares ”

What is meant by notorized copy

    1. Trade Smart Online

      Hello Vijaylakshmi,
It seems that you do not have an account with us. To demat your physical shares, no any documents are to be notarized. You would require to courier your broker the physical shares along with dematerialize form which will be provided by your broker on your request. To know more details, please contact your broker.

For your information, Notarized means, a hard copy document will be attested by an authorized lawyer, which is considered as a legal document.

  4. 1Nevin1

Hi, I am using an interim agent by name IEPFZone to transfer shares from IEPF.She has asked me for my demat account details by furnishing a client master report (CML/CMR). It seems to have a lot of personal information. Is the details on the entire CML required by the agents for transfer of shares? If your answer is ‘no’ then what are the essential information that will be required by the agents whom we are providing a mandate to retrieve dividends and shares? Thank you very much for helping out.

    1. Trade Smart Online

      Hello Nevin,
To transfer shares, you are required to furnish only DP ID and client ID. However, we would still suggest you to check with your broker.

  5. AMAN GUPTA

I HAVE DEMAT ACCOUNT WITH HDFC AND HAVE RECEIVED DELIVERY INSTRUCTION BOOK BUT CML COPY IS MISSING AND TRYING TO GET FROM PAST 1 MONTH …..NO RESPONCE YET I HAVE TO TRANSFER SHARES FROM ZERODHA TO HDFC CAN YOU PLEASE HELP HOW CAN I GET

    1. Trade Smart Online

      Hello Aman,
For share transfer you need to courier the DIS copy of Zerodha and client master copy of HDFC to Zerodha. Share transfer request is entertained only through physical copy. Hence, you would required to wait till the lockdown is over. However, we would suggest you to check with your broker for their process.

      Hello Viki,
Among the three, First name, middle name and last name, any two name should match. Basically it depend on the broker how the request should be accepted.
