क्या मै btst कर सकता हु मेरा आपके यहा डिमेट खाता है…अगरbtsr नही है तो कब तक चालु होगा?
Hello Murad,
You can do BTST but you need to understand the risk involved in short delivery. Example: If you buy on Monday, you get shares on Wednesday from the exchange. In case you sell the shares on next day i.e Tuesday then you need to give the shares on Thursday. If you don’t receive shares on Wednesday from exchange, you cannot give the same shares on Thursday. This leads to short delivery. Please refer our another article on What happens during short delivery?
What is the process of doing btst if i have account with trade smart? Do i need to buy shares in cash n carry or you provide margin for btst too??
Hello Hari,
We would like to inform you that we do not encourage BTST. Because, sometimes you might not receive delivery of shares from exchange. In such case, shares will be auctioned and you are required to pay penalty for short delivery. Please click here to know more about short delivery.
